Privacy policy
Pixfit runs entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit your photos.

In short
Pixfit is a browser-only ID photo studio. Your photos never leave your device. We do not run accounts, do not require sign-up, and do not track you with cookies.
What we process
When you upload a photo, the file is decoded in your browser, processed by an on-device AI model (MODNet running on WebGPU / WebAssembly), and rendered onto a local canvas. None of those bytes are sent over the network.
Local storage
We use your browser's localStorage only to remember the photo / paper / layout specs you create or import (key `pixfit:specs:v1`) plus a small list of recently-used background colours. You can clear them at any time from your browser's site-settings panel.
Third-party resources
The AI model weights, fonts, and the MediaPipe runtime are fetched from public mirrors (ModelScope, jsDelivr, the Hugging Face CDN). These services see only the model file requests — never your photos. Once cached your subsequent visits are fully offline-capable for the core flow.
Analytics
Once we go live we plan to use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-less and does not collect IP addresses or device fingerprints. No script is loaded until that decision ships. No third-party analytics tracker (Google / Mixpanel / Sentry) is bundled today.
Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to delete or export on your behalf. You retain full control by clearing local site data inside your browser.
Children
Pixfit is suitable for general audiences but is not directed at children under 13. If you are using Pixfit on behalf of a minor, please review these terms with their guardian.
Updates to this policy
If our data-handling practices ever change we will update this page and bump the last-updated date. Material changes will also be summarised on the home page or via the in-app notification banner.
