Scope

These terms cover any use of pix-fit.com and the open-source Pixfit code base. By loading the site or running the code you agree to be bound by them.

What we provide

A browser-based ID photo studio. Every feature runs locally; the host service exists only to serve static files. We do not promise any specific level of availability or accuracy.

Your responsibility

You must hold the rights to every photo you process. Do not upload other people's photos without their consent and do not use Pixfit to violate any government photo standard, identity-verification policy, or local law.

Spec accuracy

Built-in photo specifications are cross-referenced from official sources at the time of writing. Embassies and exam boards change their rules regularly — please double-check the latest official requirement before submitting your application.

Intellectual property

The Pixfit source code is released under the MIT license. Built-in icons, fonts, and the AI model are licensed by their respective authors (see the README). Your photos remain yours.

No warranty

The service is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Pixfit, including but not limited to rejected applications or printing costs.

Changes to the service

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Material changes will be announced through the changelog in the open-source repository.

Governing law

Disputes are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the maintainer resides, and where applicable, by the relevant local consumer-protection law.
